The Spouses’ Club of Fort Eustis (SCFE) will host the second annual 5K and 10K Warrior Run run on 18 April 2015. Proceeds from the race will benefit local Wounded Warrior Organizations and SCFE Scholarship and Welfare endeavors.
These organizations help wounded soldiers – who have permanent injuries – and their families adjust to their new lives through sports programs family and individual counseling, and support groups. Through your generous participation, the SCFE Warrior Run 2014 raised over $10,000.
This is a USATF sanctioned event and certified course. The surface is 99% flat asphalt roadways. The race will take you past the historic Matthew Jones House, along the beautiful James River with a view of the Ghost Fleet near Fort Crawford and then past a site of an early American brick factory located on Mulberry Island.
