Why Support this Event:Because the Cinco de Mayo Organization will be donating 50% of the Proceeds to the two most popular organizations in the Fayetteville, Fort Bragg area.Team Red White & Blue which their mission is to enrich the lives of America’s Veterans by connecting them to their community through physical and social activity.
The Fayetteville Running Club is a group for anyone who loves to run or wants to get started. The FRC has been keeping Fayetteville very active since 2008. This Club gets together to train and socialize.These two teams provide 50% volunteers to most of the events in the area and they deserved to be recognized.
Whether you are an experienced or a new runner, FRC & RWB will help you reach your running goals and have a lot of fun along the way! Some of the regular events are:Couch 2 5k Training program, Weekly marathon and half-marathon training, Tremendous local race support, Monthly member social, Speed Drills, Cape Fear River Trail Runs, Neighborhood runs, Donut Dash Fun Run and more.

Norman Cinco de Mayo event is Fayetteville’s best kept secret road race, every year, over 800 runners take part of this signature event and battle for lots of cash prizes; the Cinco de Mayo family also likes to bring Skydivers, Air Castles for kids, free Mexican food (Steak Fajitas & Tamales), our Award Presenter and IFBB Tonya Boardman, NPC Body Builders & Bikini Models to include a train rides for kids.. Race Description: The 15th Annual John E. Norman Cinco de Mayo 10K & 5K Road Race is bringing you the fastest flat certified USA Track & Field courses in Fayetteville passing through the most famous land marks in Fayetteville such as, the Market House, the Dogwood Trail, Airborne and Special Operations Museum, Freedom Park, Veterans Park, Transportation Museum and numerous local churches, all starting and ending at the Medical Arts Center.
Awards: 10K: 1st $500, 2nd $250, 3rd $100. 5K 1st $100, $50, 3RD $50. Medals for all age groups to include a Conmemorative 15th year Aniverssary Medal for the first 800 to register.

VIP Tent $50 trhough April 10, $60 after that. Everything will be there for the Athlete. BIBs, Gatorade, Water, Food, Shirt & you can RUN both events

Race Day Information: The event will take place at the Medical Arts Center 101 Robeson: Intersection of Hay St. & Bragg Blvd./Robeson, plenty of parking. Registration will start at 6-7:20 am. For both events.
Refund, Transfer and Weather Policy: If the event is canceled, fees are non-refundable due to the charitable nature of the event. The event is a rain or shine.
