About This Activity

Join the City of Fayetteville, the Fayetteville Police Department and the Fayetteville Running Club as they "Run United" to benefit the United Way of Cumberland County and local youth running programs.  This is a 5k Fun Run and Walk with a Zombie theme.  You will start the course with two flags and the object is to finish with both of them.  If a Zombie captures one or both of your flags, you will have the opportunity to "recharge" at one of our aid stations.  Join us for this fun event to benefit your community!
This event will start in front of the pavilion at Honeycutt Park on Devers Street at 5:30 PM.  You will run down Devers Street and around the bend where you will then make a right turn onto Skye Drive.  You will continue on Skye Drive to Summertime Road, where you will turn left.  Continue following Summertime Road to the mid-way point at Ehco Lane.  You will follow the same course back to the finish line.
We will have water stations set up at the 3/4-mile, mid-point and 2 1/4-mile markers.  There will be bottled water and fruit available for everyone at the finish line... and maybe a few extra goodies!

This event will be held rain or shine.

You can visit us on facebook at www.facebook.com/rununitedfayetteville for additional details / special promotions.
