About This Activity

Celebrate National Trails Day by participating in a 5K race on the historic High Bridge Trail. The park is a rail to trail conversion and is a wide, level surface with virtually no grade. The course is out and back across the historic High Bridge. This event benefits Friends of the High Bridge Trail.

Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966. $4.00 PARKING AT RACE SITE
(Directions: located just 3 miles from downtown Farmville, follow Rt. 460 to Aspen Hill Road, follow Aspen Hill Road 1.7 miles crossing the High Bridge Trail. Pre Race Packet Pickup:

Race Day Registration:
Race Day registration is available for $30. Runners & Walkers can register at the NEW Start/Finish beginning at 7:00am, Camp Paradise Road High Bridge Trail Access

Due to the width of the path across the bridge, we cannot accommodate strollers and pets.

Awards:
Presented to the top 3 overall male & female finishers and top 3 finishers in each age category.
The top overall male and female finisher will each receive a free weekend cabin stay in a Virginia State Park.
Age Groups: 10 & under, 11-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

Participation is capped at 200 runners.

Timing and scoring of the race will be done by Riverside Runners, Lynchburg, VA.
