About This Activity

In honor of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, George Mason University will hold the 18th Annual Victims’ Rights Run/Walk, in collaboration with the Aimee Willard Endowed Scholarship Fund, on April 4, 2014. This event brings awareness to victim assistance, and honors the memory of Mason student-athlete Aimee Willard, who was raped and murdered on June 20, 1996. Proceeds from this event benefit the George Mason University Victims of Violence Fund and Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Program.

Online registration closes 4/1/14. After 4/1/14, you must register at the event on race day. All non-student race day registrations will be $25.

Race day registration begins at 10:30 am. Race begins at noon. Start Line: Mason Pond and Center for the Arts. Registration is free for Mason students. You MUST show a valid Mason student ID at check-in in order to participate for free. T-shirts are available while supplies last.

Fees: Please note there will be a be a $3.25 processing fee in addition to the below registration cost.

Faculty/Staff-$15.00 Community Members-$20.00 Faculty/Staff Teams-$10.00 Students-Free

Packet Pick-Up: April 3rd- 9am to 5pm- WAVES office in Student Union Building I, Suite 3200

Teams must designate one team member to pick up ALL bibs and tshirts for their team.
