About This Activity

The Labor Day Metric Century benefits one of South Fulton's oldest historic church's, Campbellton United Methodist, and the church members, who have been so supportive of cycling in the area, are front line to insure the enjoyment of your ride and picnic. The ride routes pass through the lovely rural setting of the City of Chattahoochee Hills with rolling terrain and smooth pavement. No wonder this area is known to cyclists as "Silk Sheets". Ride options of 25, 40, 50, and 62 miles are available. Upon your return, you'll be greeted with lots of refreshments and a summer picnic under the church's pavilion so bring your friends and expect a wonderful day of cycling.

Event details and schedule

Registration opens at 8:00 on Labor Day morning. Ample parking is available, and our staff will help direct parking. Riders should pick up their wrist band and rider information at the registration left under the church pavilion. Maps will be availble, but the various routes, 25, 40, 50, and 62 miles are well marked and very easy to follow. The ride will begin promptly at 9:00. The picnic will open by 10:45 so enjoy your holiday ride.
