Event details and schedule

5K Run/Walk - 7:00 p.m. - Runners and walkers alike will enjoy the mostly flat race course through Historic Route 66 State Park for this one of a kind night run.  Race Marshalls will be “aglow” at every turn lighting your steps as you zip by on your way to the moonlit finish line.  Top finishers in various age brackets receive medals; plus there will be an overall female and male winner for the event.

Lil’ Harvest Moon Run - 6:30 p.m. - Kids ten and under enjoy a short run where they chase after the Man in the Moon.  Participants will receive a medal for participation and a special Moon inspired prize!

Glow Stick Relay - minimum of 3 participants) - 8:00 - This unique relay race course will be evenly divided between 3 legs where participants will hand a glow baton to the next leg. Team divides into 3 groups to run the 3 legs. For example; you can have one person run each leg of the event or you can pair up with friends and family! An example may look like this; mom and daughter run one leg, dad and son run one leg, and two friends run the last leg of the relay.  However you would like to divide the legs of the relay is up to you!   Heck, even Great Aunt Sarah might want to lace up for the event. (Keep in mind that you must be able to finish the 5K within an hour to participate)
