Be an official “spokes” person at the Inaugural Bicycle Bully Busters

Get on your bike, make a stand against bullying and raise awareness about safe cycling in SWFL at this fun family event.

Cost of registration is $25 per person for ages 16 and up, and $15 for ages 15 and younger. Registration includes a pre-ride carb-loading breakfast, ride support, post-ride lunch, event technical shirt, and an event village featuring informational bullying resources, cycling clinics,   bike maintenance, helmet fitting and bike handling; an agility course; and information/education on cycling pathways and rules of the road will all be offered.

Riders will also have the opportunity to meet and ride with legislators to give cyclists and bullying victims a voice in SWFL. Representative Heather Fitzenhagen, an advocate for victims and an avid cyclist, will be putting rubber to the road and talking with families about her efforts on their behalf in Tallahassee.

Event details and schedule

Registartion begins 6:00 AM

40-mile ride starts at 7:00 AM, perfect for experienced cyclists who crave a bit of a challenge.

25-mile adventure ride starts at 7:30 AM, a great distance for all levels

10-mile fun ride begins at 8 for families and anyone who just wants a little wind in their hair (under a helmet, of course!).

Rides start and end at the Trek store in Coconut point mall. Sag station with wateer and sports drink on the 25 & 40 mile rides.

*Helmets are mandatory on all rides.
