Come race at this favorite Pacific Northwest Triathlon, in existence since 2003 and Raise the Bar's 5th production. The 2020 edition has Olympic, Sprint,Super Sprint Distance triathlons, & Olympic & Sprint Relays. As of 11/14, the Long course is no longer being offered.
The course begins in beautiful Deep Lake, known for it's clear cool water - water temp expected in the low 70's. The bike course travels along the base of the Cascade foothills with a surprisingly low overall elevation gain - great for beginners or those looking for a fast fun bike. The run course elevation is much the same - a few small bumps but nothing considered a 'hill'. All races conclude with 2 laps around Lake Nolte which is a hard-packed gravel trail. No trail shoes necessary.
All athletes receive a tech tee, medal, and hot meal. Top 3 overall finishers are awarded on the podium and top 5 in each age group for the Olympic and Sprint. Top 3 overall and top 3 in each age group for the Super Sprint.
Nolte State park in Enumclaw is a beautiful, rural, family-friendly park that families can enjoy during the day with a swim beach, kids play area, and generous picnic area as their athletes come and go through transition. All athletes receive a shirt, finisher's medal and a hot all-you-can-eat meal.
