About This Activity
We are proud to present the 3rd Annual Color Splash 5K Walk/Run with proceeds benefiting Easter Seals Western and Central Pennsylvania. Join us for a day of colorful fun and support children and adults with disabilities or other special needs! This IS a FUN walk/run and will not be timed! We do welcome you to keep track of your own times!
How Does Color Splash Work? Runners should wear WHITE t-shirts and clothing you don’t mind being dyed looking like a rainbow! Those who register before cut off date will receive a white t-shirt at bib pick up. The color should not stain your clothes, hair or body after showering, BUT please take caution! There will be 4 stations with a different color at each. As the runners reach each station, they will be BLITZED by volunteers with powdered color!
What is the “Color War”? Each runner will receive a baggy of colored powder to throw in the air, dump on yourself or throw at a friend during our “Color War” after the race! There will be a designated space and a “count down” to the war!

What is the Color? All products are 100% natural and safe (food coloring and cornstarch). You can eat it, but it probably won’t taste that great! It does not hurt, it is like getting into a powdered sugar fight! As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and our “certified” color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by. Some participants may opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. It is not necessary though! Your kiddos are welcome to attend. Some people cover their jogging strollers with plastic rain covers to protect their very little ones!
Pictures If you want to get shots in the middle of the run, we recommend covering cameras/phones with plastic wrap or placing in a plastic bag.
Post Race Recommendations Bring a couple of towels for your car to sit on and another to dust off!
Rules • Absolutely no refunds, no exceptions • No transfers of entry to another person • All participants must sign Waiver of Liability • We love your dogs too, but for their enjoyment and the enjoyment of the other runners/walkers, please do not run or walk with them. They may not love being as colorful as you!
