Must Have YOUR OWN Access to EDWARDS AFB to compete.
Its a first time event for Edwards AFB. The MURPH is a workout that was designed to test the best. What is the Murph workout you ask?

In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, age 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005.
This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it “Body Armor”. From here on it will be referred to as “MURPH” in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.
There will be alternative workouts for those that cannot complete it all but will not give up. Competitor division must complete full MURPH to win prize
Reminder that you must have you own access to Edwards AFB to compete.
Event details and schedule
Each category will have different starting time bases on the level you want to complete in. So please be aware of the different times.
Prizes will be given to top competitor division (8 total) : Top Male/Female; Duo; Team of 4 (Sponsored by GNC)
Competitor Division - 0800 (Gym will be open for start of this division, please show ready to compete)
Amateur Division - 0900
Beginners Division - 1000
Family Fun- 1100
Please bring water bottle and plenty of energy to finish it.
There will be Burgers and Drinks provided for competitors and family during and after the event in a designated area.
Burgers and T-Shirts will be available for purchase at event.
Kid’s activities area will be available for kids not able to compete with parents. (Parent supervision required)
Local Gyms and GNC Distributers will have information booths during event.
All parking and events will be located on the EDWARDS AFB base gym. You must have access to base to compete.
