About This Activity

THE RACE IS FULL!  Please register for the wait list and we will contact you to discuss options for getting you into the race.

Who's thirsty for a great new half marathon in Durango!!

Imagine a race with a BEAUTIFUL COURSE, lots of DOWNHILL, and a huge BREWFEST as your post-race party.  That's the Thirsty 13!

We put a lot of thought into designing a unique, scenic, and fast course.  You'll start at Hesperus Church and run a point-to-point course along La Plata Highway, County Road 125, Wildcat Canyon, County Road 210 past Lake Nighthorse, and then through Bodo to a finish at Ska Brewing.

Click here for a short video of the course:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI-8Ju7W3oI

After the race we'll have a celebration and awards ceremony at Ska Brewing, and then it's off to the SAN JUAN BREWFEST in downtown Durango.  FIFTY BREWERIES will be there to congratulate you on your run, and your entry ticket is included with your race registration.

Click here for more information about the Brewfest, including a list of CONFIRMED BREWERIES:  http://sanjuanbrewfest.com/

A Brewfest ticket by itself would cost $25, so this race is a great value!

(Note:  As of July 24, we have placed our t-shirt order for the race.  While we ordered plenty of extras, there is a small chance we may not have a shirt in the size you want.)

We are proud to partner with two great charities for this event.  The Brewfest benefits United Way of Southwest Colorado, so a portion of your race registration is supporting the great work they do.  Also, we are pleased to be partnering with Conservation Lands Foundation.  You can choose to run in support of this great organization that works to protect, restore, and expand our national conservation lands.

Please note that your Brewfest ticket is non-transferable.  It will have your name on it, and you will be required to present ID at the entrance.
