About This Activity
Learn how to walk “correctly” for exercise using the WalkAthlete® athletic walking technique. Athletic walking is fun, social and an excellent way to stay fit for all ages and fitness levels! The 6 WalkAthlete® technique skills are combined with specific exercises to improve posture, muscular balance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. Walking speed is not important. You must slow down to learn the technique! This is a fun class. There is no pressure and no competitiveness. You’ll go at your own pace and take breaks when you need to. This is a fantastic program for increasing your walking speed and efficiency.
Duration: 6 weeks. 1 hour per week. Level: All Fitness Levels
