About This Activity

The St. Patricks Day Weekend 10K begins at 9 am, the 5K will begin at 10:30 am, and the 1 mile at 11:15 am all from 520 Douglas Avenue, on Sunday, March 15, 2015.  All runs will take place on the Pinellas Trail through scenic Dunedin!  Baby strollers are welcome No pets please. This is an annual tradition for so many Irish fans who love the races and we limit the crowd so don't wait to register for this day of fun and fitness.

All finishers will receive the event tshirt, a large finisher's medal, free beer and food with post race party and entertainment! Top Finishers awards will be presented to the top 25 males and top 25 females in the 5K and 10K immediately following each race. All participants pre registered for the Leprechaun Challenge will be given a separate award for accomplishing all 3 runs in the time alloted on race day! This category is NOT for the faint of heart. Have fun with it and wear your best green everyone. 

Event details and schedule

We have just announced that in 2015 there will be a packet pick up opportunity the day before the race at Dunedin Family Fitness on Dunedin Causeway Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 4 pm to 6 pm. This location is also running simultaneously to a very large St. Patrick’s Day party next to Cricketers Pub so be prepared for a crowd AND a party.  We will also have race day Packet Pick Up at Bauser's beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Pre race pick up is Not mandatory and You ARE allowed to pick up for a friend if they send you with a phone pic of their driver's license. 

The 10K will begin at 9 am and the 5K will begin at 10:30 am and the 1 mile at 11:15 am all on the asphalt paved Pinellas Trail behind Bauser's Full Liquor Lounge in downtown Dunedin located at 520 Douglas Avenue. Please park in any legal parking area as the race cannot be responsible for tickets.  Ticketing in Dunedin for events has never been a problem so just use good common sense on parking. We are a VERY event friendly town.  Please do not arrive at the venue prior to 8 am so that our volunteers have ample time to learn their role before your arrival.
