Short: 2mile run-5.5 mile bike-2 mile run

Long: 5k run-11 mile bike-5k run

Schedule:      7-7:40 am check in, packet pickup

                        7:45 am pre-race briefing

                        8:00 am race starts

Fees:   Individual: $75  NO race day registration.

            Teams:  $135  NO race day registration.

            (If not usat member  please add $15 for one day insurance)

Special Note Regarding Registration and Limited Participants: There will be NO race day registration and there is a 200 total person limit of racers and organizers. This race will sell out. Race will be held rain or shine. Event promoters have the right to alter events for any reason. No entry fee or portion of entry fee will be refunded, transferred or credited. A waiver must be signed on race day.

Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female      Age groups 3 deep male and female – 15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 and 60 and over

Courses: The Peace Valley Park Duathlon will consist of two different distance options.

Short: 2mile run-5.5 mile bike-2 mile run; The short course will consist of a  2 mile run on the walking path from the race start towards the Peace Valley Nature Center out 1 mile and turn around and head back to transition. This is followed by an 5.5 mile bike and finishing with the same 2 mile run.

Long: 5k run-11 mile bike-5k run; The long course will consist of a 5k (3.1 mile) run on the walking path from the race start towards the dam out 1.55 miles then return to transition. The first run will then be followed by a 11-mile, two loop bike course around Peace Valley Park (see details below), followed by second 5k (3.1 mile) run that will begin at transition and follow same route that the first run followed.

Amenities: After the event there will be light snacks and refreshments in the parking lot up off of New Galena Rd along with an awards ceremony. AWESOME New Balance Dri Fit Tech Tee!!!! (With NEW Awesome design!!!) to all participants

Packet Pick up will be at North Wales Running Company on Friday, May 12th from 4-7. You can pick up a packet of a friend or relative but you will need to know their birth date.

Special at NWRC: 10% off all purchases of regularly priced merchandise during packet pickup 4-7pm.

You do not need to pick up your packet on Friday at The North Wales RC, but if you don't, plan to arrive a bit earlier on race day.

Additional Information: 

Packet pick up on race day (Saturday, May 13th) will begin at 6:15 am and goes until 7:30 at the transition/start/finish area which is at Sailor's Point Boat launch at Peace Valley Park, New Galena Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914.

DIRECTIONS TO THE RACE START

The race starts on the NORTH SIDE OF LAKE GALENA (NOT THE MAIN (South side) PARKING AREA). You are going to NEW GALENA ROAD at the SAILOR’S POINT PARKING AREA. We strongly advise that you google exactly where you need to go and be prepared before Saturday morning arrives.

Parking is first come first serve. Should you arrive a bit later, you may be directed to park at a parking lot which is ½ mile from the race start. Please plan accordingly.
