Jodi's Race for Awareness
Sat, Jun 6, 2015
About This Activity
Jodi's Race is a 5k walk/run, whose purpose is to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, so that women might find their cancer earlier, and stand a chance to win against this deadly disease. All proceeds go to the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA,) a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide support and to promote awareness of ovarian cancer through advocacy and education.
This race has also become a day to celebrate those who are so bravely fighting this disease, and to pay tribute to those who have lost their fight.
This is not just a race, but an event for family, friends, and runners, filled with honoring, supporting, educating, and remembering.
*Please note individual registration fees will increase $5 on raceday, family pack will increase $10.
