About This Activity

*Cost of registration will increase $5 on the day of the event*
The Devil Dash is an annual event held at Laughlin AFB with the main purpose of having fun and raising money for a good cause. This one-of-a-kind course will allow you to traverse an actual Air Force runway and run beside actual Laughlin AFB aircraft! All participants will receive a free T-Shirt and the top 3 male and female runners in each age group will receive a medal! New this year is the 5K Commander's Cup! Teams of 2 consisting of commanders and their DO, CD or CV will compete together on the 5K. The team with the lowest combined time will win the cup.
Each participant will receive a link to raise money for the Air Warrior Courage Foundation. This drive will begin on 13 March. You will be able to send that link to friends and family to raise funds. We are requesting that each participant will make a personal goal to raise $100. The funds raised will be presented to the foundation on the morning of the race and the top overall fundraiser will receive an award! Following the race there will be breakfast tacos provided for all particpants.
THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!! Participants who require base access will need to register at least 1 week prior to allow Security Forces to accomplish background checks. A driver license number will need to be provided during the registration.

0700-0830 - On site registration & packet pickup
0845 - Presentation of Donation
0900 - Race starts
1000 - Food
1030 - Presentation of awards
Be sure to arrive early to pick up your race packet and avoid the rush! Plenty of parking is available right next to the starting line. After you enter the base, you will continue straight until you reach road blocks. You will be guided to parking from there.
An email will be sent out prior to the race with a waiver attached. This waiver needs to be signed and provided in order to receive your race packet.
All race fees will go toward shirts, awards, aid stations and food. Any extra will be given to the AWCF as part of the donation.
