About This Activity
Celebrate the 4th of July with this annual Decatur Park District tradition, presented by Tate & Lyle! Compete in a 4-mile or 8-mile run, or a 2-mile walk. The first 400 entrants will receive a Firecracker tech shirt. A minimum of three awards in each age division will be given to runners. Winners of men’s & women’s 4 & 8 mile races will also receive a trophy and gift certificate. Refreshments provided!

Pre-Registration can also be done at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center, 1295 W Wood St.
Packet Pick Up will be Thursday, July 3rd
-Time & Location: 4-7 p.m., Fleet Feet Sports, 1090 W Wood
-You may also register for the Staley Firecracker at Packet Pick Up
Race Day Registration is from 6:45-7:30 a.m., Friday July 4th at Nelson Park
The race will begin promptly at 8a.m.
