About This Activity
This event is to raise awareness about the complex issues surrounding suicide. We will also have a memorial balloon release for those loved ones that we have lost to suicide. The Peer Listeners from Beavercreek High School have made this event a major vehicle to bring the message of help and hope to those who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses. Knowing warning signs and risk factors and when and where to turn for help is vital to getting out the message that it is OK to Ask for Help.
This is our 9th Annual Walk and we encourage everyone to join in the walk, and games and the food that the students will be preparing.
