About This Activity

The J. Manley Robbins trail is a beautiful place to run.  Created by the bike club shown in the logo in the 1890's, the Robbins trail is THE OLDEST RAIL TO TRAIL IN THE COUNTRY! The Robbins 5K & 10K Run happens on a tree-lined trail that parallels Mahoning Creek. This 90% flat, level trail run promises to be one you will want to add to your "must do" list each year.

Free T-shirts while supplies last. First come, first served! Those not receiving shirts will receive a $5.00 deduction from the race registration fee.

The STUDENT RATE was a big hit last year! Organizers want to encourage young people to get out and get active! We offer our "break-even" price to all students with valid ID that are 18 and under in age. Students will receive the same ammenities as participants paying full price.

Putting the 5K together takes one amount of work; putting the 10K toghether is a completely new and additional amount of work. This is why the 10K is more expensive than the 5K. Remember, all proceeds benefit the upkeep of the Hess field park.

Event schedule and times

9:00 a.m. Start time.
Day of race Registration will be $5/category more expensive than online or mail registration.
We will only have Day of Race Registration if the race is not SOLD-OUT prior to race day.
Day of race Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. @ the Hess Field Pavilion location.
Parking will be available in the Hess Field parking lot, along the access road, and in the back section of Perkins parking lot, if need be.  If the race looks like it is heading for a sell-out, it would be good to allot at least 30 minutes for parking and walking to the start pavilion.
