About This Activity

On August 1-2 be part of the first ever Ohio Mennonite Relief Sale 24 Hours of Relief, a somewhat crazy but mostly fun cycling event to support Mennonite Central Committee’s development and relief work.  The ride, held from 3:00pm Friday to 3:00pm Saturday during the sale, will challenge solo riders or relay teams of up to six members to complete as many 11 mile laps as possible in 24 hours.

Not crazy enough to ride around the clock? No problem!  Show your support for the 24 hour riders as they enter their 18th hour by riding a single 11 mile lap along side them at 9:00 AM Saturday August 2.

Riders are encouraged to seek sponsorship for miles or laps completed on the course starting and ending at the Buckeye Event Center in Dalton Ohio.  Jerseys will be awarded to riders who raise at least $300. In addition to cycling, riders can enjoy great food and fun at the sale along with camping and a bonfire.  While primarily not a race, teams are encouraged to challenge each other. Recognition and prizes will be awarded to teams and riders who complete the most laps.  Helmet and road safe bike required. For more information or to register please call Berlin Mennonite Church at 330-893-2320 or check out our website at www.24hoursofrelief.com.
