If you have been looking for a triathlon that will challenge your whole family, then you have come to the right place! Run for God is proud to announce the Fourth Annual - Run for God - Dalton Parks Triathlon. This fast and flat course sits in the heart of Dalton, GA at the newly remodeled and state of the art "Ronald Nix Complex" at James Brown Park. This race is somewhat small in numbers, but if you have ever been to a Run for God race, then you know that the atmosphere is nothing short of a National event.

This course is kid and beginner friendly and will challenge even the most seasoned athlete. Safety is our number one concern which is why we have gone to great lengths to have the entire course closed to traffic at all times. It is our hope that you will join

Race Day Parking

Parking will be at the North Georgia Fairgrounds.  Just follow our traffic volunteers, they point you in the right direction, and you'll only be a quarter mile from transition.

This course is VERY spectator friendly, so bring the family!

Body Marking

Participants will have a race number marked on their arms and legs. Each participant will have his/her age on the back of his/her leg in marker.

Our race will be chip-timed. EACH PARTICIPANT MUST WEAR A TIMING CHIP AT ALL TIMES DURING THE RACE. Once the participant has crossed the finish line there will be volunteers retrieving the timing chip. ALL TIMING CHIPS MUST BE RETURNED. Timing results will be posted on the Run for God - Dalton Parks Triathlon Facebook Page.

How are the proceeds used?

100% of the proceeds from our races are used in one of two ways.  The first is to keep the day-to-day operations of Run for God moving.  Our revenue comes from books, t-shirts, sponsors, and races.  We made the decision early on not to seek private donations of any kind to support this ministry.  Another direct result of our race proceeds is to fund a race that we started hosting in November called the “My Hope America 5K” This race is offered to 2000 middle and high school kids as well as their families in Dalton, GA (the home of Run for God).  This race is completely free to all in the community and the primary focus is to share the gospel of Christ through the My Hope America video by Dr. Billy Graham.  Every runner gets the complete experience, from the race, to the timing, and the t-shirts.  Once the race is finished, everyone sits down to hear Billy Graham do what he does best, share the gospel with a lost and dying world.
