About This Activity

The 2nd Annual "Don't Tell Me to Slow Down" 5k Walk/Run is raising money to support the National Stuttering Association. The National Stuttering Association (NSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting persons who stutter through local stuttering support groups, hosting annual conferences, and spreading stuttering awareness. This event is being hosted by the Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter of the NSA. This chapter hosts support group meetings twice a month and is run by persons who stutter. Their mission is to provide a supporting environment for persons who stutter to stutter openly and to increase stuttering awareness through education. Our inaugural race on March 30, 2014 was wildly successful and we would love to follow it up with an even bigger success! Proceeds benefit both the local and national levels of the National Stuttering Association. We hope to see you at the race!
