Fundraising and Donations
All participants and visitors are encouraged to raise funds to benefit Safe Passage (Camino Seguro) programs in Guatemala City.
Safe Passage, founded in 1999 by Yarmouth native Hanley Denning, provides comprehensive education, health and enrichment programs to over 550 students from nearly 300 families living in the community of the Guatemala City garbage dump—one of the largest open landfills in Central America.
Your donations provide hope, education and opportunity to our students and their families in the Guatemala City garbage dump community.
