Start your new year off on the right foot by joining the Columbus Running Company’s newly revamped Walk & Run 101 program. If you've ever dreamt of finishing that first 5K, we're here to help you every step of the way. If you used to run or walk and it's time to make a comeback, come share some miles with us. Either way, let's get moving!
Walk & Run 101 is a 2 month program designed to get you started with a walk or run routine, with an eye towards finishing a 5K at the end of the season. We'll host an initial kick-off clinic where our coaches will lay out the training plan for you. There, we'll cover the basics of form, nutrition, hydration and more. After that, you'll receive weekly coaching emails and be invited to join our weekly group walks & runs at any of the four CRC locations.
All registrants in Walk & Run 101 will receive:
Entrance into our Season Kickoff, a one hour intro clinic to get you started
It all starts during the first week of February with our kickoff nights, so get yourself signed up and then come join us for the fun. The kickoff clinics will be held at all four CRC locations. Just choose the one you would like to attend when you sign up. After that, keep an eye on your inbox, as you'll be receiving a welcome email that includes your training plan and details on everything you'll need to get started.
