The HOKA ONE ONE Columbus 10K presented by RUNOHIO is one of the oldest races in Ohio, and is considered "The Oldest Road Race in Columbus." The event originally began forty one years ago as the Citizen-Journal 10K. For over a decade RUNOHIO's Matt McGowan, who was the winner of the inaugural race, oversaw the event. Since 2009 the event has been directed by Andy Harris and Jim Jurcevich with help from the Columbus Running Company.
Today the event has become one of the premier 10Ks in the state. If you're are a front of the pack runner, we have generous cash awards and age group awards run five deep. Finisher medals for everyone in the 10K and unique medals for all kids in the free AEP Ohio Kids Run. The setting downtown is perfect, with a fantastic route through the Arena District, the Short North, Victorian Village, and the Olentangy trail system. We hope you have the opportunity to participate in this great event!
The 2018 event is again a part of the RUNOHIO GrandPrix and will serve as the USATF-Ohio Association 10K Road Championship.
