About This Activity
The Big Bad Wolfe Run is SOLD OUT!
As of 8:30pm on September 24, the Big Bad Wolfe Run is officially sold out. We have been given a maximum number of participants as part of our permit process, and we have hit that number. Thank you to everyone who has registered, we're looking forward to a great morning!
About this Race
Whether you're getting ready for that Fall full or half marathon or looking to test your summer training in a 5K, the Big Bad Wolfe Run is for you. We have race options of 5K, 10 miles, and 20 miles. Join us on September 25th for the start of something great, the Big Bad Wolfe Run. This race is all on the paved asphalt Alum Creek Trail, it is not a trail run.
We're going to deliver great swag, finisher medals for everyone, and a fun time. You're going to deliver the memories. Band together with the rest of the villagers and come run with us!
As you take part in the Big Bad Wolfe Run, you'll be joining in the tradition of keeping the big bad wolf at bay. Just as the folks of Central Ohio have done for generations, kick off your Fall by wearing red and hitting the paths in memory of Little Red.
Please note:The red hoodie is guaranteed to all registrants as of September 12, and available to later registrants on a first-registered-first-fulfilled basis as supplies last. If you selected a size during registration, you will receive that size during early packet pickup or on race day. If there was no size available to choose during your registration process, you will be able to select from available sizes on race day beginning at 7am on a first-come-first-served basis. There will be no swapping of sweatshirt sizes before or after the event.
If you're looking for a group to train with in preparation for the event, the Columbus Running Company hosts free group runs every Saturday morning at all locations. Runs start at 8am, all abilities and paces are welcome.
The Big Bad Wolfe Run benefits the Reeb Avenue Center
The Reeb Avenue Center holistically addresses the needs of residents while celebrating the heritage of the community.
We seek to build self-sufficiency through opportunities and transform lives through education, job training, and local job growth including entrepreneurship. Since Reeb Elementary School was built in 1904, it has been serving the changing needs of its neighbors. The historic school has been restored and now houses a number of nonprofits.
