About This Activity

Rolling through ranch, forest, farms, and vineyards the Motherlode Century guides you through Northern California's most beautiful landscapes The 35 mile (2,824’ of climbing) loop provides a sampling of all the good elements of riding in the Gold Country, while the 65 mile (6,430' gain), 81 mile, and 97 mile (9,177' gain) routes add a remote canyon with rewarding climbs and awe inspiring scenery. Post ride soak in the cool river, hot showers and massage await your return. All riders will enjoy a delicious riverside dinner with live music following the ride.   This ride helps support the Friends of El Dorado Trails. We deliver what avid cyclists value.

The entry is affordable, and the riding is outstanding. Our host venue American River Resort,  offers tent camping (only $10/head), tent cabins, RV spaces and cabins to keep your group with different needs all together.  A delicious post ride dinner will be provided and micro beers and wines are available for purchase from our not for profit partner Friends of El Dorado Trails.  Expand your weekend experience with a rafting trip, a walk through time at the adjacent Gold Discovery State Park, hiking, mountain biking or a visit to the many local wineries and micro-breweries!

Walk-in/Day of registration is welcome.   For more info go to www.motherlodecentury.com
