About This Activity
Race the River is a sprint-distance triathlon that takes place in beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho. It starts with a 0.5 mile swim with the mild current of the Spokane river, just as it leaves crystal clear Lake Coeur d’Alene. Athletes transition onto their bikes through the modern North Idaho College complex and navigate an exciting yet fast and flat 10 mile bike course. Exiting transition, runners head out on a serene city trail for 3.1 miles, returning to North Idaho College for a finish back dropped by the river.
