About This Activity

Setting the Pace at Whitten Center is held on paved roads with little to no automobile traffic.  The 5K is fairly fast, while the 10K offers a couple of challenging hills.  The course winds through wooded areas and the 10K passes through the old farm area of the left.  The event is very family friendly and is safe for younger children because of lack o traffic.  The event is enhanced by participation of the special people who call Whtten Center home.  There will be people along the course to cheer you on and offer you support as you support them by being here.  Awards for winners and age group winners will be hand made by people with special needs.  They are the best trophies because they are crafted from the heart.
