About This Activity

The first ever "Rockin' Run for the Arts" 5K and Fun Run will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017, in beautiful downtown Clinton, North Carolina. Our open-road course is a combination of flat terrain and a few hills to create a fun, but challenging run, and on your path you will encounter local musicians stationed at intervals along the way! We look forward to seeing all ages, walkers, runners and anybody willing to be a cheerleader along the way. The start-line window will open at 8:30 AM. Make sure you plan to be at the race in plenty of time to enjoy pre-race festivities including music, dancing, and warm-up stretching! Stick around after the race and enjoy the Court Square Street Fair and BBQ Cook-Off!

Packet Pick-up will take place Friday, October 13, from 5:00 - 7:00, at the Victor R. Small House, 709 College St. in Clinton, and will feature a free beer from local brewer Grog Row, or an ice cream from local Jackson Dairy Farm. Have a beer and a chat and mosey downtown for a free concert to celebrate your upcoming race sponsored by the Clinton Main Street Program.

As a non-profit organization, we are excited to be presenting this Rockin' Run to raise money to support the arts in our community. To learn more about the Sampson Arts Council and their programming visit www.sampsonarts.net
