About This Activity

Battle Run: Princesses vs. Monsters will kick-off from beautiful Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. 5K participants will either register as a ‘Princess/Prince’ or ‘Monster’, then start their un-timed course together, bolting up the Memorial Causeway Bridge before the two groups engage in an epic battle to the finish line. All 5K runners will receive a custom 2016 Battle Run finisher medal. 1 mile participants will enjoy a more relaxed course along the waterfront and in downtown Clearwater, ideal for new runners, walkers, families, and pets. All registered runners will receive a Battle Run 2016 t-shirt along with a goody bag and Battle Run packet. The event also includes a post-race expo with 15+ interactive vendors, fun surprises along the route, music, and complimentary food and drinks for runners along the course and at the finish line. Costume categories and prizes will be announced soon! 100% of proceeds will benefit Pinellas County children through the services of local 501(c)(3) non-profit Directions for Living.

There are no age limits, but please use your best judgment based on the difficulty and length of the course. We recommend that young and inexperienced runners stick to the one mile route. Although we will do everything we can to make sure you and your little ones are safe on your run/walk, please keep in mind that you will be running on a bridge next to a busy road if you choose the 5K.
