Cruisin’ in the Country is a family friendly bicycle ride. It is not a race. Five different ride options are offered to ensure there’s a ride suited for each skill level. Cruisin’ in the Country takes you along lightly traveled roads in Evans, Tattnall, Candler and Bulloch counties. Whatever ride option you choose, you will travel roads with minimal traffic and you will delight in the beauty of quiet rural countryside, rich in history, wildlife and agriculture.
While riding, you will benefit from SAG vehicles (clearly identified), patrolling the routes as well as our friendly, themed rest stops, located every 10 to 15 miles along the routes. Please alert a Cruisin’ volunteer if you need any assistance or have any questions. You are welcome to leave clothing items (jackets, extra shirts, etc) at any rest stop – ask for a bag; label with your name and rest stop location; a volunteer will return the bag to Cruisin’ Headquarters where you can pick-up.
