About This Activity

The Celebration of Life 5k is an event benfitting and raising awareness for Hospice and Palliative Care in Butte County. Come out and celebrate life with us at this great event with bling and swag for everyone plus snacks and a good time at the finish line!

Event details and schedule

Start Time: 9am

Location: One Mile, Bidwell Park, across from the softball fields

Course Info: The Celebration of Life 5k course will be from Right next to the softbal fields to the bathrooms at Cedar Grove, cross the bridge and head back towards the one mile pool. Cross the bridge at the one mile pool and follow the course signs to the finish line next to the siftball field.

Parking: Particiapants can either pak on the Vallombrosia side of the park (near the One Mile pool) or they can turn onto East 4th Street (along side One Mile) and park on the road or there is a small parking area there inside of the park.

Arrival Info: Please arrive at 7:45am if you are doing packet pick up on race day (we strongly encourage you to pick up your packet before race day if you are able to. This will lessen the lines and stress on race so everyone can enjoy their walk/run).

If you are not doing race day packet pick up, please arrive no later than 8:45 to get in place at the start line.

Packet Pickup: TBA all participants will receive an email soon with details on packet pickup. Be sure to use a valid email that you check often (keep your eye on your junk email box just incase). We will also announce packet pickup details on Facebook.

As with any event, please remember to bring your ID and wear your race ID bracelet, for safety, if you have one.

It will hoepfully be a beautiful, sunny morning however, be sure to dress appropriately for the weather on race day!
