About This Activity
Don't wait for the New Years to get moving! Let us Walk/Run you through the holidays!
The challenge starts 12/15/14 and runs through 1/15/15.
Done our Challenges before? We have awesome bottle opener medals for this event! Good for opening a nice Sparkling Water when your done :-)
Training for a 5k, just want a challenge, or maybe you just want a challenge to get in shape? Why not get rewarded for all your hard work?
***We are having people signing up from all over the US!! Represent your state!***
We put together 3 challenges:
1) A mile a day challenge to get you moving and to keep you moving. Promise yourself and us that you will move 1 mile a day. Depending on your fitness level that could take just 6 minutes to 20 minutes a day. But you can do it!
2) A 48 mile challenge. This averages out to 3 miles 4 times a week or a little over 1.5 Miles a day. Are you up for the challenge?
3) A 93 mile Challenge! This would average out to be 3 miles a day! We know you can do it!
All 3 of these categories gets a medal for completing this challenge. The 31 day Challenge get the medal, the 48 mile Challenge gets a medal and a tshirt and the 93 day Challenge gets a medal, a choice of one of our t-shirt and a choice of necklace!
All you have to do is sign up for the event and once the month is over, you just send an email to let us know where to look for your mileage. For this event, you can use MapMyRun, RunKeeper or if you have a fitbit or Garman you can email us a summary at the end of the month. Once we recieve your email, we will send out your package.
Want a weight loss challenge? We have an optional bet! You have the option (not required) to put an extra $30 in a pot and if you lose 4% of your body weight in 4 weeks, you get to share the money with those that hit their weight loss goals. Sounds fun right? Lose weight, get a medal, and possibly a shirt, necklace and money!
Event details and schedule
All you have to do is sign up for the event and once the month is over, you just send us and email with your name and where you tracked your miles or proof of your miles!
Listen to your body. If you need to walk instead of run, please walk and don't over do it. We just want you out and moving!
