About This Activity
We challenge you to Run the L! Run (or walk or wheel) the total distance of Chicago’s elevated public transit system. We’ll give you 8 weeks to tackle 131 miles*. Do it solo or grab a running buddy and divide and conquer this unique challenge.
We’ll give you the motivation you need each week as we take on a new line between August 10th and October 4th.
You can complete the individual segments at your own pace throughout the 8 weeks or challenge yourself to complete the 131 mile challenge in as few weeks as you can. Simply log your time and distance after you complete your activity until you reach the total distance of the L - 131 miles. Since this is a virtual challenge, you can run or walk wherever and whenever you want! We’ll re-share all the fun ways you all are accomplishing the challenge on social along with our own tips and tricks to tackle the challenge too!
