August's Challenge~

Since August starts on a Friday, you have a couple days for the first week to get ready for your mileage.

Here are our 3 challenges for August:

Walk, dance, run...just move for 30 minutes a day. 1 Day of the week complete the mileage requirement: 

1) 1st week get to a mile, 2nd week get to 2 miles, 3rd week get to 2.5 miles, 4th week get to 3.1 miles (look you just completed a 5k!)

Walk, dance, run...just move for 60 minutes a day. 1 Day of the week complete the mileage requirement:

2) 1st week get to 3 miles, 2nd week get to 4 miles, 3rd week get to 5 miles, 4th week get to 6.2 miles (look you just completed a 10k!)

Walk, dance, run...just move for 60 minutes a day. 1 Day of the week complete the mileage requirement:

3) 1st week get to 6 miles, 2nd week get to 7 miles, 3rd week get to 8 miles, 4th week get to 9.3 miles (look you just completed a 15k!)

All 3 of these categories gets a medal for completing this challenge. The 5k Challenge get the medal, the 10k Challenge gets a medal and a tshirt and the 15k Challenge gets a medal, a tshirt and a "Dream, Believe, and Achieve" necklace!

All you have to do is sign up for the event and once the month is over, you just send us your mile count. We opperate on a honor system. We will trust that you did the mileage you said you have completed. Once we recieve your email, we will send out your package.

 

Event schedule and times

Go at your own pace. If you need to walk...then walk. If you want to jog...then jog. This is not a contest to see who can out do who but to challenge yourself and get rewarded for all your hard work!
