About This Activity
Please join us for the July 9, 2016 Chicago Chinatown 5K Youth Run. The Chinatown 5K race is a fast course that runs through the heart of Chicago Chinatown. We also feature a 200 meter (age 6-8) and a quarter mile (age 9-11) youth run. All finishers of the 5K and the Youth Run will automatically be entered into our post race raffle drawing, so don’t miss it!

Date/Time The 5K race will start promptly at 8 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016.
5K Race Course
Starting at Chinatown Square on Archer Avenue, the race features a fast course with turn around at 34th Street. Runners will run through the heart of Chinatown and finish back again at Chinatown Square. ** 5K T-Shirts are gender specific, male and female sizes. **
Youth Run Kids ages 6 – 11 will also have the opportunity to participate in an organized run after the 5K race. The kids’ 200 meter (age 6-8) and a quarter mile (age 9-11) race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. The race will be held along Archer Ave., near Chinatown Square. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend to cheer on the runners.

Youth Run $15 Registration fee $20 starting on June 28, 2016 $25 on Race Day (cash only)

Race day registrants (cash only) and packet pick-up from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Timing Chip This year’s 5K run features the latest in race timing technology, the CHRONOTRACK B-TAG ! This is new timing technology which the chip stays mounted on the runner’s bib. It doesn’t require additional application by the runners!
First Aid A first aid tent will be set up in Chinatown Square for participants. An ambulance will also be on call for emergencies.
