About This Activity

Run, walk, sponsor or donate... it's a race we can all enter! The 2020 Race to End Poverty hosted by A Wider Circle advances the mission of helping children and adults throughout the region to rise out of poverty. This year's race will be held in Anacostia Park in SE Washington, D.C., not too far from A Wider Circle's neighborhood left in the Washington Highlands community.

Children under age 5 register for free!

The 2020 Race to End Poverty:  A Wider Circle's annual 5K and 1M run/walk is back on Sunday, May 3, and this year in Anacostia Park in Washington, D.C.! Prizes will be distributed for fastest time, largest team and most funds raised (see below for more details). 

Virtual Runner: Can't make it May 3? Want to sleep in? Traveling? No problem! Support the cause as a virtual walker!
