COURSE INFORMATION: This is a unique course and while it’s beautiful, it’s not for sissies. You’ll experience full-out fun with an array of ups and downs on moderate inclines and a scenic route with plenty of water stations. The course is mile marked. Starting at the iconic Ives Farm barn, runners cross Cheshire Street to the farmstand side of Ives Farm. The course runs into the farm's woodland, and cruises along portions of the yellow and blue-blazed trails through a forest full of autumnal colors. The course continues on the perimeter of planting fields on the east side of Ives, before crossing back over Cheshire Street, to the west side of Ives Farm. It then traverses planting fields, runs alongside streams and the scenic Quinnipiac River, and finishes back at the barn. Course includes approximately 225 ft. of elevation gain over 5K.
