About This Activity

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!! In the fall of 2010, OCPCC hosted its first Fall Ramble as a way to bring the community together for an active, fun event. Now in its 5th year, the Ramble has become an annual collection of families, community members, serious and curious runners and walkers, young and old, fast and slow. The event symbolizes wellness and community, two primary foundations of OCPCC’s work in Orange and northern Windsor counties. The day features multiple ways to get out and get moving, in addition to children’s activities and games. All proceeds benefit the Orange County Parent Child Center.

About the Orange County Parent Child Center: Located in Chelsea, Vermont, the Orange County Parent Child Center is one of fifteen parent child lefts in the state. Our mission is to help families with young children build a sense of place within their communities by connecting them to education, support, advocacy and wellness opportunities. Since 1989, families and providers have come to know us and access us as their primary community resource for any topic or need related to children and families. OCPCC strengthens families with young children and connects them to their communities through an onsite childcare and preschool program, home visits, supervised visitations, weekly playgroups, community outreach, and programs for pregnant or parenting youth. The specific issues we address and advocate for include housing, transportation, food, childcare, parenting best practices, and health and wellness. We have programs and activities for all families in Bethel, Bradford, Braintree, Brookfield, Chelsea, Corinth, Fairlee, Newbury, Orange, Randolph, Rochester, Royalton, Stockbridge, Strafford, Thetford, Topsham, Tunbridge, Vershire, Washington, West Fairlee, and Williamstown.
