About This Activity

Join us for year SIX, where the funnest runners in the world converge on Raccoon Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Race options include:
- 10K (all road)
- Morning half marathon (all road course, all trail course, or the original part road/part trail course)

After much consideration, the marathon will remain, but because of multiple factors, the marathon distance will be limited to 20 runners, and will be by invitation/application only.

After a sellout crowd in 2019 that we decided was slightly too large for our limited volunteer crew, there will be a cap for 2020. The cap for individual races will be adjusted based on how registration for each course goes, because some of the courses overlap and have differing volunteer needs. We suggest you register early.

We suggest you do NOT sign up for this race if you are super serious, if you are super competitive, if you are super uptight and expect a slick, corporate, city-type race. That's just not how we roll.

We suggest you DO sign up for this race if you like low key and laid back, focused on fun, support for all speeds, and/or aid station buffet-type situations.

For info about the race itself, visit BEFORE you register so you know what you're getting into. When you register for this race, we expect that you understand that this is NOT a competitive race, it is NOT put on by a giant corporation or a big running club, it is laid back and geared toward the social runner.

Make sure to like us on Facebook for updates! Also, visit for information about our other races!

There is a five hour time limit for the 10K and half marathon, which means we're obviously more than walker-friendly; we LOVE walkers. This is a great place to take on your first trail race!
