About This Activity


Join us on Saturday, June 20th for the Market Street Mile benefitting Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association! This is an exciting event on a flat, fast, certified 1 mile course in Downtown Chattanooga (Cert# TN 06007DJR).  There will be a series of heats divided by age and gender. All ages are welcome!

NEW IN 2015 - The 1 mile fun run/walk will include the Red Dress Run! Run a mile while wearing a Red Dress and show your support for the American Heart Association! Don’t have a red dress? Wear your favorite red running gear!

PRICING: Prices shown are for both the 1 Mile Race and the Red Dress Run/Fun Run/Walk.  You may participate in BOTH events for one price, but MUST register under the 1 Mile Race if you wish to participate in a timed race heat (you will be given a shoe chip).  You may leave your race bib on (remove shoe chip) if you wish to also participate in the Red Dress Run...  And be sure to wear red!!!

If your young child is participating in the ’29 & Under’ 1-Mile race heat and you wish to accompany your child on the course, YOU MUST register as an accompanying adult and sign a waiver. You will not be timed.  If you are already participating in the 1-Mile race and/or Men Go Red Mile – you do NOT need to register as an accompanying adult.

NOTE: Those who register for a 1 Mile race heat are welcome / encouraged to participate in the Red Dress Run… No additional entry fee! Stay for the Red Dress Run! Throw on a red dress and show your support!

T-Shirts – Guaranteed for those who register by Wednesday, June 10th. Extra shirts will be ordered but sizes cannot be guaranteed. Please register early!

Awards will be presented for the following:   Female and Male Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters and Wheelchair.  The top three female and male finishers will be recognized in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

SPECIAL AWARDS will be given to the BEST DRESSED Male and Female Red Dress Run participants! A panel of judges will be looking for the man and woman with the most impressive RED DRESS!
