The Cornwell Center and Queens University present their Annual 5K, Aquathlon (swim and 5K) and family festival at The Cornwell Center on Saturday, Sept. 10. Swim your laps (8 total) in the Queens University pool, run/walk the 5K along the beautiful Myers Park streets and finish up at the Family Festival on the Cornwell Center lawn.
Of course, you can pick and choose which event is right for you. The aquathlon is a challenge, but an excellent fitness adventure. But, if you wish to only walk or run the 5K, no problem. Simply sign up just for the 5K during registration.
Also, sign up for the fitness events and you qualify to participate in a free group training programs (beginner or intermediate) being offered by Cornwell member and competitive athlete, Jenn Stanton. Individual instruction is also being offered for a fee. Contact Jenn directly at firstname.lastname@example.org
No matter what you choose, the family festival is free and open to participants, spectators and the general public.
And it’s all to benefit the Levine Cancer Institute in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month
