About This Activity

The 4th annual School Spirit Run for Niger is a family friendly 5K run/walk through the beautiful James Island County Park trails. It is a morning of friendly competition between schools as well as a celebration of education in the lowcountry and in Niger, Africa. Participants are encouraged to wear t-shirts and memorabilia from their school of choice to emphasize unity despite dissimilarity. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward the construction of a school in Niger, Africa, one of the most impoverished nations in the world.

Parking is free for all walkers/runners.  Please tell the attendant at the gate you are with the Run for Niger.  Please park at the Stono Shelter or the Wando Shelter.
