About This Activity
Caroline County Habitat for Humanity's 7th Annual Historical Walk will be held in beautiful Downtown Centerville! The walk will be hosted by County Historian Mary Margaret Revell Goodwin and the board of directors and volunteers from The Queen Anne’s County Historical Society. The event will begin with a slide presentation overview at the Centreville Library, and will be followed by visits to Wright’s Chance and The Tucker House, and a guided walk through of a number of historic homes in the community. This is a great opportunity to see the Town of Centreville from a historic, “inside” perspective, and will be very family friendly. The event will be followed by give-a-ways and an auction of local products and services.
Event details and schedule
Registration will begin at 12:30 Pm in front of the Queen Anne’s Library in Centreville. There is parking available in the library lot directly behind the building and an adjacent town lot on E. Water St. The event will begin at 1:30 Pm with a slide show in the Centreville Library, followed by walk-throughs of various homes and buildings, and followed by our give-a-ways from local merchants. We are estimating about two hours for the event. This will be an easy walk and very family friendly.
