About This Activity

The Cooks Hill Challenge 10 mile run and 5K run/walk are the kick-off events to the Wellness Round-up. We encourage runners to stick around and enjoy the wellness booths, food and festivities throughout the day. This is free and family friendly event with activities for all ages.

The 10-mile course consists of an out and back with a loop and features beautiful rural scenery and two STEEP HILLS.

The 5K course is and out and back and will be a mostly flat, stroller and dog friendly course for all ages of the family.

We hope you will join us and enjoy a beautiful Fall day in Centralia.

All finishers will receive a Dry Zone t-shirt. Please select a t-shirt size at registration. Shirts will be in men's sizes so choose accordingly.

Event details and schedule

The 10 mile run begins at 8:00am. The 5K run/walk begins at 8:30am. Top finishers for the 10 mile run will be awarded medals at our awards ceremony at 10:00am at the main stage.

Dress for rain or shine because this event moves forward despite the weather!

Plan to park in the North lot which is the main hosptial parking lot.

Your packet will include; race giveaways, race number and t-shirt. We encourage early packet pick-up at Cascade Sport and Spine Physical Therapy, 2020 Borst Ave., Ste 2. Centralia, WA at the following times;

Thursday, September 18, 2014 7am to 6pm

Friday, September 19, 2014 7am to 12:30pm

On-site packet pick-up will also be available for both races the morning of the race starting at 7am at Washington Orthopaedic Center parking lot at 1900 Cooks Hill Road. No need to visit the registration booth if you picked up your packet earlier in the week.
