About This Activity
What Will You Learn?
Since 1989, the TI Effortless Endurance ‘pyramid’ of Balance, Streamline, and Whole Body Propulsion has transformed tens of thousands of ‘strugglers’ into skilled swimmers, literally overnight in some cases. You will learn:
Balance No more sinking or struggling. Learn to ‘cooperate’ with gravity to get the water to support you effortlessly. You’ll feel more comfortable, more stable, and gain the ability to swim at the equivalent of ‘conversational’ pace.
Streamline Take the path of least resistance. Learn to shape your body to pierce the water and how to stroke with a minimum of wavemaking, turbulence, bubbles and splash—all of which are evidence of energy being wasted. Reduce drag and swim any distance or speed more easily.
Whole-Body Propulsion Work with the water. Learn two invaluable habits: (1) Align yourself with natural forces--gravity and buoyancy--to take the place of muscular forces; and (2) Propel with tireless core power in place of fatigue-prone arm and leg muscles. Become the swimming equivalent of a perpetual motion machine.
Seamless Breathing Get all the air you want and need while maintaining seamless flow in your stroke. We’ll teach you to keep head and spine aligned and to move your head in coordination with body roll, not independently

In the morning and afternoon pool sessions you will learn the TI Skills progression via group instruction -- the most efficient way to acquire a lot of skill. Your coaches will film video of your swim with analysis afterward in a classroom setting.
