About This Activity

RACE DAY PRICING:  4 Mile $30 - 9 Mile $40 - 1K Color Run $15

The Run Wild 4 mile/9mile courses will take you through the beautiful setting of Castle Pines, Colorado and Daniels Park.

Course Description:

The 4 mile is a mix of asphalt and pavement through open greenbelt while the challenging 9 mile course is a mix of asphalt, pavement, dirt road and single track dirt!  A 2 mile stretch of the 9 mile course was a territorial road established in 1864 and is home to a Bison herd, Native American Tall Bull Memorial Grounds and has scenic views of Pikes Peak, Longs Peak, Devils Head as well as a view of the Denver metro area.   Possible wildlife sightings in these beautiful natural surroundings are sure to help motivate you on this challenging course. Jogging strollers and well- behaved dogs are welcome on the 4 mile course.

Stick around for a great post race party including fluffy pancakes from Mama Lisa's, BEER from people that make BEER and a chance to win 4 pairs of trail and road running shoes from the hip cats at Run Colorado!

The 1K Color Me Wild run will be held in Elk Ridge park at the conclusion of the 4 mile and 9 mile events. The Color Me Wild run provides and opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy a unique experience that is focused less on speed or athleticism and more on fun with family and friends.  Run along dirt and concrete paths in Elk Ridge Park in your favorite (or least favorite) white shirt and volunteers will douse you in a variety of color (safe, biodegradable).

This year we are donating part of the proceeds to a very special young man that lost his life on Fathers Day weekend.  Trey McCleery was 6 and went to Timber Trails Elementary, both of his parents will be participating in the 4 mile Run this year.

The McCleery’s started a memorial Fund called PLAY FOR TREY.  This fund will give kids in the area a chance to play in sports that otherwise would not be able to because of finical constraints. This is a great cause that gives back to the community.
