Run Dig Rodeo 5K/1 Mile

The Run Dig Rodeo is an annual food and fun festival hosted by Hope Chapel of Apex. Come join a fun, family community event where you can race in your best costume then go try all the delicious treats provided by area food trucks. Come Meet, Greet, & Eat at the Run Dig Rodeo! Proceeds from event registrations and t-shirt sales go to support the event and Hope Chapel's community programs.

Time: 8:00 - 8:30 AM Race Day Registration & Check-in 9:00 AM 5K & 1 Mile Start Time *Start times subject to change
Course Information: The course is inside Bond Park on the trails and roads. Course map coming soon!
Events: Youth, Juniors, Adults, Novices, and Families are welcome. This is event has both competitive and recreational categories. Competitive participants will have chip-timed results. Recreational participants will have have a digital clock only with unofficial times. All Fit & Able Productions, Inc. events are inclusion events: anyone of any age or skill-level can participate in any race course!
Race Souvenirs & Awards: All competitive race finishers will receive an event t-shirt at the finish line (after returning their chip). All sleep-in participants will receive their shirt at packet pickup and check-in. Recreational fun runners can purchase an event t-shirt during registration or at the event for $15. T-shirts have been ordered so there is no guarantee you will get a shirt in the size you selected (10/15).
Race Awards: Competitive participantswho place in their age group category are eligible for event bandanas and gift certificates to the Run Dig Rodeo food trucks. All competitive runners are encouraged to enjoy the spirit of the race and wear their best costumes!
Best Overall Male & Female: Event sweatshirts
Ages 6 - 11: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes

Ages 19 - 29: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes

Fun Run Prizes: Recreational fun run participants who win a costume award are eligible for event bandanas and gift certificates to the Run Dig Rodeo food trucks. All fun runners are encouraged to wear their best costumes for the race and if bringing a dog dress them up too!

Competitive Runner & Family of Four: Competitive Runner is FREE + $20 for four Recreational Runners (+ $5 for each additional runner) * A Competitive 5K participant may enter the 1 Mile Fun Run for free with four family members for $20 and additional family members for $5 each.
Competitive Runner & Four Friends: Competitive Runner is FREE + $25 for four Recreational Runners (+ $5 for each additional runner) * A Competitive 5K participant may enter the 1 Mile Fun Run for free with four friends for $25 and additional friends for $5 each.
Dog (may wear costume) Registration Fee: $5 per dog (NOTE: Only one dog per registered participant allowed) * Online Registration closes on Friday October 24th at 10 PM
NOTE:NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, or EXCHANGES are available for any Fit & Able events.
Packet Pick-Up: Saturday, October 25th from 8:00 - 8:45 AM at Bond Park Community Center
NOTE: All participants must show a photo ID in order to pick up their race packets. All participants must pick up their own race packet. Minors must be with a guardian to pick up their race packet. All dogs running on the course must be registered and numbered.
Athletic Trainer: Medical staff will be available at the Bond Park Community Center.
Start Hydration: Please hydrate and visit the restrooms in the Bond Park Community Center before heading to the start line.
